Quick Fixes

Sometimes, life would dribble you anyhow. Make everything elusive, futile your efforts and crush your pursuit. To compound it, your travail moment will coincide with when your friends are making waves, leaving you with thoughts that you're useless. A scenario like when HIV suppresses one's immunity. Your hope will be dashed, it will sometimes go beyond dented. You will have free subscriptions to evil thoughts. And gradually, what you hitherto negate will arouse your appetite. Hoping for a solution, all that will materialize in your mind is to reach out to quick fixes. Quick fixes are answers. Quick fixes are instant solutions. Quick fixes are short term benefits or advantages but whatever resolves your situation but does not give character to your purpose or goal, has no virtue in it.

Life is an album, you're only seeing a picture. There is no more to life than your present predicament. It is either you remain patient and allow other pages of the album to flip or wreak havoc on forcing it to flip yourself. It is a choice! Our abilities do not define who we are, it is our choices. It's your choice if you ventured into fraud because of being destitute, there are people in a more precarious situation than yours who survived by dint of hard work and patient.

Adversity will come, it will go. Adversities will shake you, but in the end, it will reveal you. For where there is no shaking, there is no revelation. There is a lesson you must take from every vicissitude to prepare you for what lies ahead. No one can go to the next level with nothing to show from the previous level. In the face of adversity, finding virtue is the character of real answers. True success is not in your result after failure but in how you dealt with the failure. For we don't inspire anyone by being perfect. We inspire by how we deal with our imperfection. Before you take that step, think twice! It is easier to react than to think but always think first.

In the face of adversity, there is a need to separate what is necessary from what is desirable. What is desirable gives you a momentary rest to your purpose; what is desirable is like a daydream in the mist of a nightmare, a solution that has never seen the real daylight. But what is necessary is finding virtue in the midst of your adversity. What is necessary is more important than what is desirable; to know why you're in that situation and the lesson you must take away from it. Is it to be patient, contented, humble, obedient, and most importantly, to trust God? There is a virtue you must grow.

Beware of quick fixes, wait to manifest at your appointed time.
